CoverGirl Model Mgmt
Interview

My name is: Tatiana
Roberts
Q:Why and How did you get started in modeling?
ANS:
My initial jump-start in the
modeling industry began when I attended and was chosen to
be cover model for the Bahama Gems swimsuit calendar in
the Bahamas.
Q:Did you always want to be a model or was their something
else you wanted to
be or do?
ANS:
As a child, i loved taking photos but not necessarily in
hopes of becoming a model. However as years went by and
opportunities presented themselves, I realized that it was
something I enjoyed doing and I loved it ever since!
Q:If you could give advice to girls who want to be models
and don't know how
to get started, what would be the most important thing you
would tell them?
ANS:
Firstly, the modeling industry is a very competitive
industry! You must do your research and remain aware of
modeling scams because every opportunity that comes around
doesn't necessarily have to be legitimate.
Q: Growing up were you the
one teased and picked on and why? Or were you
somehow always included in
the crowd or left out and why?
ANS:
Fortunately, being
teased or picked on was never an issue for me. It seems
as though in today's age bullying has been a serious issue
especially in schools. I am grateful that I was someone
who was always included in the crowd simply because there
is nothing worse than for a person to feel unwanted or
unimportant.
Q:Please say one or two
things about your ethics and morals.
ANS:
Ever since I was a child, I was brought up under a
Christian influence. Having a spiritual relationship is
one of my most important attributes which serves as a
crucial element in shaping my ethics and morals. One of
the most memorable quotes that continues to stick with me
would have to be: " Do unto others as you would have them
do unto you".
Q: Where do you hope to be
in 5 years?
ANS:
Wow! Five years from now would make me 26 years old!...By
then I would hope to have successfully completed both my
Bachelors and Masters degrees in Business Management.
Hopefully by then I would be able to venture and start a
business of my own. Last but not least, I would love to
have made my way up in the modeling industry (preferably
fashion catalogue, editorial and print modeling).

In 500 words or
less write below about yourself ( ie: things you like
to do sports, hobbies ,special talents, personal intrests
etc.) and why you want to be a model/talent with our
management company.
Start here: Tatiana Brittany
Roberts....... I'm 21 years old, born August 15, 1990.
That would make me a Leo! I'm also the first of five
children. I would refer to myself as a warm-hearted,
caring, optimistic and honest person. Although American
born, I never forget to call the very small island of
Bimini, Bahamas my home! Sad to say, but I'm pretty much
a Facebook+Twitter addict! I also enjoy beaching,
spending time with my siblings, and going out on dinner
dates with friends. I love experiencing new things as
well as meeting and conversing with new people. At first
I may appear to be shy, but once I'm comfortable....
that's just a whole different story! I would like to be a
part of Cover Girl Modeling agency in order to be able to
meet with new people while allowing new doors to open for
me in the modeling industry.

ECO-friendly and
culturally relevant fashions, vibrant colours, and a
beautiful array of exquisite textures were on display as
the Islands of the World Fashion Week was held at the
Sheraton Nassau Beach Resort last week.
Fashionistas
were presented with pure artistry, as this year's fashion
week featured bold colour palettes and strong, yet
intricate lines.
Kicking off fashion week
was the Muse Model Search competition with the 16
finalists strutting down the catwalk in the designers'
creations.
It was Bahamian Kendrick
Kemp who won the Muse Model title in the male category and
Giovara Geertriuda of Curacao who won for the women.
Following the Muse Model
Search, the newest and hottest creations from Bahamian
designers such as Phylicia Ellis, Sabrina Sturrup and
Kevin Evans were unleashed, giving fashion enthusiasts a
glimpse of what trends to expect for the upcoming season.
Cocktail dresses took
the lead, dominating the runways.
A satin coffee cocktail
dress with sexy criss-cross details that accentuated the
back was a special highlight.
There was also something
for the men, and it was all about accentuating the waist.
The pret-á-porter, or ready-to-wear, portion of the show
also highlighted men's wear.
The male models took to
the runway in designer suits by Kevin Evans, which clearly
made the statement that they are to be worn by men of
today who are knowledgeable, confident, self-aware and
innovative. The male models worked pinstripe as well as
linen suits in a variety of bold colours.
This segment came to a
close with designer Kevin Evans stepping onto the runway
and giving a wave of gratitude and satisfaction as his
adoring fans applauded.
Fashion week ended with
designs in swim wear, casual and evening wear in dark
colours that captured the very essence of Fall fashion.
